TOMELILLA KONSTHALL
In 2022, Project Caboodles director Michael Whelan was awarded the Sten Malmquist Grant from Tomelilla Konsthall in Sweden. During the residency period we were involved in delivering a series of workshops that focused on the social interaction between people and the environment to various community and social groups.
Workshops and courses included Photograms, Photography, digital production, Zine making and drawing. During the commission we also built a camera obscura on Tomelilla train station where visitors could come and sit inside the building that had been converted into a camera!
We are very grateful to the projects curator and producer Karolina Nilsson for the commitment and support needed to help deliver the workshops, and also to the Sten Malmquist Grant for the funding, Tomelilla Konsthall for the opportunity, and the below groups for their collaborations during the project.
